Mission

The mission of BEAMING Inc. is to be the provider of choice for Equine-Assisted Learning, Certified Therapeutic Riding, and Mental Health Support. We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for children, adults, and families facing unique physical, emotional, and behavioral challenges by developing healing relationships between participants and horses. Through trauma-informed care, clinical services, and inclusive horsemanship programs, BEAMING empowers individuals to grow, connect, and thrive.

Detailed programs

BEAMING provides evidence-informed equine-assisted services for children, adults, veterans, older adults, and individuals with disabilities. Programs are designed to build confidence, independence, resilience, and meaningful community connections through hands-on experiences with horses.

Current programs include:

Adaptive Horseback Riding for individuals with physical, cognitive, and developmental disabilities.
Pegasus Leadership, an equine-assisted leadership and personal development program that strengthens communication, teamwork, emotional intelligence, problem-solving, and resilience.
Stable Futures, a workforce readiness program where youth and young adults with disabilities develop job skills through real-world ranch responsibilities, mentorship, and community partnerships.
Stable Minds, serving older adults with dementia, Parkinson's disease, caregivers, and veterans through horse interactions that promote cognitive engagement, emotional well-being, balance, social connection, and purpose.
Youth and Family Programs, including camps, leadership development, autism programming, and inclusive equine-assisted learning experiences.

All programs are individualized, trauma-informed, and delivered by trained professionals and volunteers in a safe, inclusive environment. Participants gain practical life skills, confidence, and lasting connections while experiencing the unique benefits of partnering with horses.

Current projects

BEAMING is expanding innovative equine-assisted programs that improve quality of life across the lifespan. Current initiatives include Stable Minds, supporting older adults with dementia, Parkinson's disease, caregivers, and veterans; Pegasus Leadership, which develops leadership, communication, and resilience through experiential learning; and Stable Futures, a workforce readiness program that prepares youth and young adults with disabilities for meaningful employment through hands-on ranch responsibilities and community partnerships. BEAMING also provides adaptive horseback riding, equine-assisted learning, youth leadership programs, veteran services, and inclusive community events, serving more than 4,000 participant experiences annually while ensuring financial barriers never prevent access to services.

Organization goals

BEAMING's goal is to improve the quality of life for individuals of all ages and abilities through equine-assisted services that foster confidence, resilience, independence, and meaningful community connections. We strive to:

Expand access to equine-assisted programs regardless of a participant's ability to pay.
Improve physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being through evidence-informed programming.
Build inclusive communities where individuals with disabilities, veterans, older adults, youth, and families can thrive together.
Develop innovative, replicable programs that address community needs, including workforce readiness, healthy aging, mental wellness, and leadership development.
Strengthen partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, businesses, and community organizations to increase impact and sustainability.
Ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism through PATH Intl. accreditation, staff training, and ongoing program evaluation.

Funding needs

Funding will directly support BEAMING's equine-assisted programs that serve children, adults, veterans, older adults, and individuals with disabilities. Specifically, funds will help provide:

Scholarships to ensure no participant is turned away because of financial hardship.
Horse care, including feed, veterinary care, farrier services, and equipment essential to maintaining safe, healthy therapy horses.
Program supplies, adaptive equipment, helmets, and safety gear.
Curriculum materials and hands-on learning resources.
Staff and volunteer training to maintain high-quality, evidence-informed services.
Facility and arena maintenance to provide a safe, accessible environment for participants.
Transportation assistance and outreach to increase access for underserved individuals and families.

Every contribution helps BEAMING expand access to life-changing equine-assisted services while ensuring programs remain affordable, sustainable, and available to those who need them most.
