Grant Description
Grants of up to $10,000 to USA and Canada companies in the home service sector for business development assistance. Applicants must submit a preliminary application prior to applying. Funding is intended to allow home service providers to achieve their professional goals and to launch, grow, or strengthen their businesses. Grants may be used for new equipment, marketing efforts, starting a new service, team training, and other projects that will contribute to business success.
Any home service business owner or aspiring business owner 18 years old or older, residing in the U.S. and Canada, excluding Québec.
The Program is open to residents of the United States of America and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are over the age of eighteen (18) as of March 5, 2025 and who comply with the entry procedures described in these Official Rules.
Home service businesses provide one-time or recurring installation, repair, maintenance, or mobile services to clients at residential or commercial properties. Examples include landscaping, residential and commercial cleaning, contracting, painting, HVAC, plumbing, pool maintenance, mobile car detailing, etc.
Ineligible
Home service businesses do not include businesses that run out of a home residence. Home-based or retail businesses that primarily provide or sell goods and services online, from home, or from brick-and-mortar locations are not eligible.
Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Jobber, their parent and affiliated companies, the Program prize suppliers, the Program judges (if applicable), and any and all other companies associated with the Program, as well as those with whom the foregoing individuals reside, are not eligible to enter this Program. The Program is NOT open to employees of Jobber, or any of their respective affiliated companies, advertising or promotional agencies, or anyone domiciled with any such employee.
Pre-Application Information
Timeline:
• March 5 – June 11, at 5:59 p.m. MT: Phase 1 applications
• June 18 - June 25 at 5:59 p.m. MT: Phase 2 applications. All eligible applicants will be invited to fill out a phase 2 application to better understand business plans, leadership style, and community impact.
• June 26 - July 18: The judging panel will review applications and look at your online presence to get to know more about you and your top-notch service.
• Mid July 2025: Finalists will be contacted to complete a final round of questions.
• August 2025: Grant recipients will be announced.
Each applicant may submit only one (1) entry to the Program on that applicant's behalf or on behalf of a named business for which the applicant is entering the Program.
